Jaime, was lost out near the National Cemetery for about a month before he was rescued and taken to the shelter. He was pretty scared at first, but he gradually became ready to trust again.
He make take a while to warm up. He needs an single adult home. He bonds with one person and guards them so he won’t do as well in a multi person home. Once he is comfortable, he’ll sit in your lap, comes when called, take treats nicely and loves sleeping with you but he does well in a crate. His is OK in the car, as well as on a leash.
He gets along with the most other dogs here but is a dominant little guy. No cats. A home with no children is advisable, too.
Jaime has been neutered, wormed, vaccinated and micro chipped. He has no heartworms and is now on preventative.
His adoption fee is $200.00.
